The food is prepared efficiently and never lacks in taste. The shawarma is one of the best I have had in a long time.
The chicken is perfectly seasoned and the garlic sauce is both hot and flavorful. Even though there is another Zesty Pita location closer to me in Burlington, I always make the extra effort to drive to this location because it is worth it.

Reco Shawarma
Reco's is my go to restaurant on nights when I don't feel like cooking. The portions are generous, fresh, and full of flavor. The homemade garlic sauce and cooked onions add an extra layer of flavor to the juicy, fresh chicken.
I have tried a variety of items on the menu and have never been disappointed. The owners are extremely friendly and caring, and always show appreciation for their customers. There is even a rewards program in place at Reco's!
I will definitely be returning to try some of the other dishes on the menu. Yum!

Chef's Door - Premium Shawarma
I was pleasantly surprised by my experience at Chef's Door. I stumbled upon this restaurant by accident while in the plaza, but after reading the reviews, I thought I would give it a try.
I am so glad I did because I was not disappointed at all! The pictures of the food do not do it justice - everything looks and tastes fresh.
The chicken shawarma, in particular, did not have an overpowering taste and was very fresh. The rice and potatoes were also excellent, and there were big chunks of carrots for added flavor.
I dined in, and the restaurant was very clean, as was the washroom. The owner was also very nice. The restaurant was much larger than I expected with plenty of indoor seating.
The staff was superb, and they give generous servings without skimping on the sauce or any other requested items.
I highly recommend Chef's Door for anyone looking for delicious, fresh halal food in Burlington.

Pita Republic
I found another great shawarma contender at Pita Republic. The restaurant serves one of the best chicken shawarma in Burlington, and the lamb is also amazing - it is tender and seasoned with lots of flavor.
The restaurant is clean and well-maintained, and the owners are friendly. The service is fast, with big portions at fair prices. There is nothing not to love about Pita Republic.
I have been searching for an authentic-tasting shawarma for some time, and I have finally found it at Pita Republic.
The shawarma is simply delicious, and the garlic sauce alone is enough to bring me back for more.
The owner, Tarek, makes the best shawarma hands down, using incredibly fresh ingredients including homemade garlic, tahini, and hot sauce.
I will definitely be coming back to Pita Republic.

Sana Grill Burlington
Sana Grill is a true hidden gem. Maybe it's not so hidden, but I was very pleasantly surprised by the taste, quality, and service at this restaurant.
The butter chicken was excellent, and the homemade hot sauce was also top-notch. The salad, which I believe was flavored with orange blossom water, was terrific.
I will definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu.
