Milestones

Milestones

Milestones is a great restaurant for casual dining. The contemporary chain is known for their delicious Bellinis, and they have a great selection of twists on typical bar & grill offerings.

The food was delicious, with a good variety of wine selection and a reasonable price. The interior lighting was good, and the seating was comfortable. The restaurant was spacious, with good angles to see the TV. There was also plenty of parking space outside.

I ordered their steak sandwich which was on the sweet side and the rancheros, which was very good.

The avocado and egg were a perfect match.

Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend Milestones to anyone looking for a casual dining experience.

Brassie Pub

Brassie Pub

Brassie Pub is a great spot for casual dining with a British twist. Located in the heart of Olde Ancaster, the pub offers the fun, flavor, and familiarity of Britain's finest public houses.

The menu has something for everyone, with a wide selection of North American standards as well as imported Olde English "Pub Grub" and all your favorite beverages.

They even cater to the little ones with a special "Kid's Menu."

The atmosphere is just what you'd expect from an English pub, casual and relaxed, but with upscale food.

The selection of beers and wine is good and there are two outdoor patios. The staff is very pleasant, we received a friendly greeting and were told to sit where we liked and she'd bring us our menus.

We had the fish tacos with fries which were fantastic! The thick cut, lightly spiced chips were perfectly hot and as a tip, ask for some curry sauce to dip them in.

The prices are moderately priced. Overall, we had a great experience at Brassie Pub and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a casual dining experience with a British twist.

Thai Tamarind Ancaster

Thai Tamarind Ancaster

Thai Tamarind is an upscale Thai restaurant that offers authentic and delicious Thai food. I was impressed by the amazing flavors and quality of the dishes.

I ordered the green curry and it was so delicious, the portion was generous and came with a side of rice. My husband had the pad woon sen, which was also a large portion and tasted incredible. The service was great and the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable.

I can't wait to try more of their menu as everything looks so good. If you're looking for an authentic Thai dining experience, Thai Tamarind is definitely worth checking out.

The flavors are amazing and the portions are generous. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Thai food.

Coach & Lantern

Coach & Lantern

Coach & Lantern is a cozy haunt in a circa-1823 building that features classic British bar fare and live music on some nights.

The atmosphere is authentic, typical of a British pub with ugly carpet and entirely too much wood paneling. The food is so delicious and the staff is friendly and fast.

The live music is a great addition to the experience, and it's usually held either indoors or on the outdoor patio.

Some things to keep in mind when you visit, the music can be quite loud and can make it hard to chat, and the inside can get a bit chilly, so bring a light sweater or pashmina.

I had the roast beef in the Yorkie pudding that was to die for, and the portions were very generous.

If you're looking for a casual dining experience with a touch of British flavor and live music Coach & Lantern is definitely worth checking out.

Go Tango Ancaster

Go Tango Ancaster

Go Tango is a great casual dining spot for Lebanese cuisine. The atmosphere is relaxed, perfect for unwinding and enjoying flavorful food.

The restaurant is a hidden gem and they offer one of the best shawarma I've had in Hamilton .

The shawarma was very fresh and tasted authentic. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food.

Overall, Go Tango is one of the best Mid-East restaurants in Ancaster, if you're looking for delicious food, this is the place to go.
