Por Vida is a Mexican restaurant located in the Bronte beach area. From the moment I walked in, I knew this was going to be a hype and happy place – and I was not disappointed!
The ambience of the restaurant is lovely and gives off a true Mexican vibe. They have a big parking lot at the back and a patio for outdoor seating.
Upon being seated, our waiter greeted us with a friendly smile and was attentive to all the tables he was serving. The service was impeccable and really added to our overall dining experience.
Now, let's talk about the food – it was phenomenal! The Mexican street corn is to die for and the tacos (steak, fish, and octopus) are second to none. The portions were generous and the flavors were spot on. The chips were also crunchy and perfect.
But the standout dish for me was the churros – a must-try at Por Vida! They were delicious and the perfect ending to our meal. The cocktails were also tasty and added to the overall festive atmosphere of the restaurant.

I recently stopped by Wasabi for some sushi and was pleasantly surprised by this small, cozy spot. The atmosphere is nice and intimate, with only a few tables and a warm, mom and pop shop feel. The service was excellent and the owners were incredibly kind and genuine.
As for the food, it was excellent. I tried their tempura and a couple of rolls and everything was well executed.
The tempura was crispy and not greasy, and the sushi was fresh and had the perfect balance of flavors. The rice was cooked perfectly as well. The selection may not be massive, but what they do offer is top-notch.
I also tried the spicy seaweed salad, gyoza, and spider roll and everything was delicious.
I was really impressed with Wasabi and would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area looking for some high-quality Japanese food.

My Husband & I recently had dinner at Colossus and were blown away by the overall experience. The ambience was authentic, cozy, and very relaxed, making it the perfect spot for a casual dinner out.
The food was fantastic and the portions were generous - we especially loved the lamb souvlaki and moussaka. The servers were gregarious and more than eager to help with any questions or requests we had.
One thing that really stood out to us was the heavenly patio during the summer. It's the perfect spot to enjoy some bright, fresh, and delicious food. The lamb was good, but the moussaka was absolutely delicious - it literally melted in our mouth!

Located in the heart of Oakville, this cozy British style pub has a fantastic menu filled with a variety of tasty options.
We had the pleasure of dining on their delicious fish and chips, which were some of the best we've had. The fish was big and beautiful, with a light and crispy batter that was perfectly fried and not oily at all.

This elegant restaurant has been receiving rave reviews since its opening and it's not hard to see why.
From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the beautiful intimate dining room and live music that set the perfect ambiance for a special evening out.
The service was outstanding and our servers were incredibly friendly and attentive.
The food was simply divine. We started off with salads as appetizers and they were fresh and flavorful.
The star of the show, however, was definitely the lamb rack. It was cooked to perfection and had an incredible depth of flavor.
To finish off the meal, the tiramisu was a real treat - light and flavorful and the perfect way to end the meal.
One thing to keep in mind is that the prices are on the higher side, but the overall experience is worth it. The restaurant also has a valet parking option for $10 or you can look for parking on the streets nearby.

If you're in the mood for some delicious halal food, Zesty Pita is the spot for you. The owner is extremely friendly and hospitable, and is always ready with recommendations if you're unsure of what to order.
The food selection at Zesty Pita is quite varied, with everything from lamb chops to the more standard falafel and chicken/beef shawarmas.
But the shawarma is the star of the show here, it's easily one of the best shawarma spots in Oakville. The portions are great, the prices are reasonable, and the food is absolutely delicious.
One of the things that sets Zesty Pita apart is the emphasis placed on cleanliness. The restaurant is always spotless and well-maintained, which is a huge plus in my book. The last time I dined in, the owner brought out a sample of a new dish he was working on for us to try and took our feedback on it, which was a nice touch.

Choi’s Sushi
I recently stopped by Little Choi's Sushi for some sushi and was blown away by how fresh and delicious everything was. The staff was very friendly and the service was quick, even though it's just a takeout spot with no dine-in options.
The value at Little Choi's Sushi is excellent, with big portion sizes and very reasonable prices. The rolls were delicious and the spicy rolls were actually spicy, which is not always the case at other sushi places. This is the best sushi I've had in years.
There are also lots of veggie options that are not available at most sushi places. I was really impressed with Little Choi's Sushi and would highly recommend it to anyone in the area looking for some fresh, tasty Japanese food.

For over 30 years, Bâton Rouge has been serving up quality, fire-grilled food and delivering an unmatched experience with attentive and friendly service.
The grill is what Bâton Rouge Grillhouse has truly mastered. They offer each guest an authentic, multi-sensory culinary experience with dishes prepared by a seasoned grill master.
I had the pleasure of trying the back ribs, which were excellent. They smoke it for over 6 hours and then bake it with their amazing BBQ sauce-blend. The sirloin steak was also perfect, good portion sizes. All the food came as expected, yummy meals that hit the spot.
The service was also great, the staff were attentive and friendly. They also have a patio which is a great spot to enjoy your meal.
