Downtown Bistro & Grill

I recently visited this amazing, boutique Bistro in Burlington's downtown and was blown away by the entire experience.

The ambience was exquisite, with a welcoming and experienced host and wait staff. The menu was delightful and the diverse wine offerings perfectly complimented the dishes. I was particularly impressed by the lightly breaded calamari, served with red pepper alioli, which were tender and delicious.

For my main course, I chose the Louisiana Cajun Blackened chicken with shrimp linguini, which was seasoned with a fragrant, palate-pleasing herded sauce.

The chef was kind enough to substitute mushrooms for the red bell peppers, as my friend has a night shade sensitivity.

The dish arrived steamy hot and was absolutely delicious. For dessert, we enjoyed a light and creamy flourless chocolate torte that was presented like a work of art.

The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable.  All in all, I was expecting typical pub-grub food, but was pleasantly surprised by the taste and quality of our meal.

I highly recommend this hidden gem in Burlington and will definitely be returning in the future.

ELeVATOR bistro

ELeVATOR

After reading great reviews about ELeVATOR, I had to try it out for myself and I was blown away by the entire experience.

The facility was stunning and clean, and the service was absolutely impeccable. The atmosphere was inviting and pleasant, and the food was amazing.

You can tell that the menu is carefully curated, as the server told us that they change it almost every week. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the Mushroom Bao, the Crudo, and the  pizza was the best Neapolitan style I've had.

The hostess was extraordinary and lovely to speak with, and the patio was gorgeous. The ambience was beautiful for any type of group, including couples, friends, and families.

It was also nice to see that the restaurant is dog-friendly, as there was a well-behaved puppy tucked away by its owner's legs.

ELeVATOR is truly a gem in downtown Burlington.

Paradiso Restaurant

Paradiso Restaurant

I recently visited Paradiso, a restaurant offering Italian and Mediterranean dishes, and had an absolutely fantastic experience.

The service was remarkable, with first-class food quality and incredible attention to detail. Their Moroccan chicken was my favorite dish!

The food was impeccable and the overall experience was amazing from me. The location is great, with a short walk to the waterfront boardwalk. I highly recommend Paradiso.

Culaccino Bar + Kitchen

Culaccino Bar + Kitchen

From the homemade ketchup to the hot sauce and pasta, everything at Culaccino is made in-house and it shows in the quality of the food.

On our visit, we tried the Funghi pizza, white wine sangria, fries with parmesan and truffle oil, and cheese cake. Everything was delicious and well-prepared.

We had the option to sit outside and the staf was very accommodating in moving us to an outdoor table as soon as one became available.

Overall, this is a great restaurant for a casual dinner with friends or a special occasion. The food is fantastic, the service is top-notch, and the ambience is perfect. I highly recommend giving it a try.

The North Coal Kitchen & Bar

The North Coal Kitchen & Bar

I recently dined at The North Coal, a restaurant offering great Canadian food with cottage vibes, and was highly impressed with everything.

The restaurant is located in a great spot in downtown Burlington, just steps away from the waterfront. It was super clean inside and had a comfortable, casual atmosphere.

The food was really solid and reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. I recommend trying the Fire roasted dip, truffle gnocchi, or the Baffin burger.

The staff was friendly and the cocktails were cool. Overall, I was highly impressed with everything at The North Coal and will definitely be back.
