Loaded Pierogi

Loaded Pierogi

I recently visited Loaded Pierogi and was impressed by the fantastic food and cozy atmosphere.

The restaurant takes classic dishes like pierogis, poutine, and mac 'n cheese and loads them up with your favorite smoky, spicy, sweet, or savory sauces, meats, cheeses, veggies, and much more.

The staff was wonderful and the seating, although tight, was comfortable. If you're in a rush, takeout through skip the dishes is always available.

My personal favorite dish was the Buffalo Chicken Pierogi (Crispy) with avocado on the side. It was delicious and the perfect portion size.

I highly recommend Loaded Pierogi for anyone looking for great food and a fun dining experience.

Motel Restaurant

Motel Restaurant

If you're in the mood for a unique and Instagram-worthy brunch experience in the east end of Hamilton, you won't want to miss this retro hotel-themed restaurant. The pink and teal color theme is definitely eye-catching, and the atmosphere is cool and stylish.

One of the highlights of this restaurant is their diverse brunch menu, which offers both savory and sweet options depending on your taste.

I was a big fan of their extra thick slices of challah toast. The food was great and the portions were quite large, although I did find the drink options to be a bit limited and pricey.

The real star of this restaurant is definitely the menu, which features playful and luxurious items like Champagne Pancakes (served with Devonshire cream, raspberry and pink champagne coulis, and gold flakes) and buttermilk fried chicken & waffles.

The cocktail names are equally playful, with options like the Naughty Chambermaid and Flamingo Brunch Paloma. Just make sure your phone is charged so you can capture all the Gram-worthy moments at this popular brunch spot.

Brothers Grimm Bistro

Brothers Grimm Bistro

This European-inspired cellar bistro is located in the heart of downtown Hamilton and is warm and cozy with brick and stone décor, wine and whisky barrel décor.

The staff was incredibly friendly and professional. They have the best drinks and unique menu.

The atmosphere is genuine and not restrictive. The wild boar sausage was seriously some of the best sausage I've ever had and the Brussel sprouts were a healthy yet tasty appetizer.

I highly recommend Brothers Grimm for anyone looking for a unique dining experience with great food and atmosphere.

Shakespeare's Steak and Seafood

Shakespeare's

In my opinion, this is the best steak and seafood restaurant in Hamilton. Not only is it an iconic restaurant that has been around for many years, but the service is top notch.

The food is incredible and the garlic bread they bring to the table is absolutely addictive.

Overall, everything at this restaurant is delicious, but expect to spend some money and treat yourself to a great meal. It's worth it!

The Mule Hamilton

The Mule Hamilton

If you're in the mood for a delicious and lively brunch experience with a Mexican twist, you won't want to miss The Mule, a long-serving downtown favourite. The service at The Mule is quick and friendly, and the ambiance is lively and inviting.

During my visit, we ordered mainly appetizers and were blown away by the delicious flavors. The sauces and spices used were amazing, and the tacos were packed with flavor even though they were purchased individually. The portions were a bit small, but the big flavors more than made up for it.

In addition to the appetizers, The Mule also offers a variety of Mexican-style breakfast options like Huevos Rancheros, breakfast Bravas, and unbelievable tacos. You can also enjoy a side of Caesars or bottomless Mimosas to really kick off your morning.

Overall, I had a great experience at The Mule and will definitely be returning. If you're in the mood for a delicious Mexican-style breakfast fix, this is definitely the place to go.

The Ship

The Ship

The atmosphere at the Ship was cozy and welcoming, with a lively and friendly vibe. The tables were spaced just far enough apart to allow for private conversations, and there were also outdoor seating options available for those who prefer al fresco dining.

One thing to note is that on busy nights, it can sometimes take over 20 minutes for the food to arrive at your table.

While this might be frustrating for some, I actually didn't mind the wait as it gave me and my friends the opportunity to enjoy a nice microbrew from the restaurant's impressive selection.

When the food did arrive, it was worth the wait , I particularly enjoyed the Chicken Fried Chicken, which came with a generous portion of crispy fried chicken and two delicious homemade sauces. The mountain of fries that came with the dish was a nice bonus, too.

Overall, I was very pleased with my experience at The Ship. The burgers and chicken dishes are both delicious and reasonably priced (under 20 dollars before taxes and tip), and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. I would definitely recommend The Ship to anyone in search of a tasty fried chicken fix.

The French

The French

If you are looking for a great time in Hamilton, it's time to pay a visit to The French.

It's located at the heart of the city and is highly awarded for its food, service and atmosphere.

The service is flawless and the food is so delicious. Their avocado toast and salads are so good, plus their main brunch courses are very flavourful and delicious.

The food is fresh and made at the spot which is what I love about this place. It’s a cute spot to go with a friend and catch up over brunch.
