Burlington’s Top Mexican Restaurants: Authentic Flavor and Great Service

Mexican Restaurants

craving some delicious Mexican food and looking to narrow down your options? With a wide variety of restaurants to choose from, it can be tough to decide where to go.

To help you out I've tried out many of these spots and I'm excited to share my top picks with you.

From classic dishes like tacos and enchiladas to modern takes on traditional cuisine, there's something for everyone. So come join me on my culinary journey to find the best Mexican food in Burlington.

If you're in the mood for some authentic Mexican cuisine, look no further than 50 Pesos. This hidden gem of a restaurant is located in an unassuming strip mall, but don't let that fool you - the food here is beyond expectations.

On my first visit to 50 Pesos, I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes of the tacos. Many restaurants serve small, skimpy tacos, but not here - these were good sized and filled to the brim with all fresh ingredients.

I opted for the Boca Chicken Tacos and my husband had the Freaky Nasty Fish Tacos. Both were bursting with flavor and tasted like they were made from scratch.

We also shared a Peso Poutine, which was equally delicious with really fresh ingredients. The staff here is also incredibly friendly, making for a great overall dining experience.

But the best part about 50 Pesos is their commitment to offering vegan-friendly options.

All in all, if you're looking for delicious, authentic-tasting tacos full of flavor, fresh ingredients, and satisfying portions, 50 Pesos is the place to go. The nachos and quesadillas are also top-notch, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this spot to anyone in the area.

On my most recent visit to Burro, I had the nachos, sweet potato taco, and Brussels sprouts taco. These dishes were all delicious and full of flavor, and I especially enjoyed the unique twist of the sweet potato and Brussels sprouts tacos.

Burro is a great place to go if you're in the mood for some delicious Mexican food in a cozy, intimate setting. The food quality is excellent, with a range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options to choose from, and the drinks are also really nice.

With everything on the menu being gluten-free, you don't have to worry about any dietary restrictions. I highly recommend giving Burro a try!

Pepe and Lela's is a beautiful restaurant with a great atmosphere that offers elevated fine dining with some of the most delicious Mexican food I've ever tried.

From mouth-savoriness fondue to action-packed tacos to vibrant, flavorful margaritas, you're sure to get your money's worth and leave with a satisfied belly.

The owner was involved during our dining experience, and our server, Dino, provided excellent service with passion. It was a memorable outing, and I can't wait to return.

All in all we had such a great dining experience.

The food at Quesada is great, with large portions and carefully packaged takeout orders. My whole family loves the food from the Fairview location, which always has polite staff, fresh food, great value, and excellent service. The food is made right every time and we enjoy it very much.

One thing to note is that the family pack is the best value, hands down. So if you're looking for a great deal, be sure to ask for it. Overall, Quesada is highly recommended for its delicious food, friendly staff, and great value
