Udupi Madras Cafe, located in the heart of Mississauga, is a cozy little spot offering an array of South Indian delights.

Upon my visit, I was blown away by the incredible flavors and textures of their dosas, particularly the Masala Dosa, which was crispy and generously filled with a delicious potato mixture.

Another standout dish was the Rava Idli – the soft, spongy texture complemented the coconut chutney and sambar perfectly.

I also enjoyed the Mango Lassi, a great drink to cool down the spicy dishes.

Guru Lukshmi

Guru Lukshmi is an authentic South Indian restaurant situated in a bustling part of Mississauga.

The welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff made my dining experience even more enjoyable.

The star of the show here is definitely their Dosas – the Mysore Masala Dosa had an amazing balance of flavors, with the right amount of spice and tanginess.

I also loved the Medu Vada, which was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, served with a variety of chutneys that elevated the dish to a whole new level.

Madras Dosa Hut

Madras Dosa Hut offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, ideal for indulging in some mouth-watering South Indian cuisine.

The standout dish for me was the Chicken 65 Dosa – the combination of crispy dosa and flavorful chicken was an absolute delight!

I also tried the Pongal, which was rich, creamy, and loaded with the perfect blend of spices. The Vada Curry was a pleasant surprise – a unique and delicious dish to pair with idli or dosa.

Saravanaa Bhavan

Saravanaa Bhavan is a renowned global chain that serves some of the best vegetarian South Indian food.

My visit to their Mississauga location did not disappoint! The Ghee Pongal was aromatic, buttery, and delectable.

The Mini Tiffin platter provided a great variety of flavors and textures, from the fluffy idlis to the crispy vadas and flavorful chutneys.

And, of course, their signature dish – the Special Saravanaa Bhavan Dosa – was a must-try, with its tangy tomato and onion filling.

Anjappar Chettinad Restaurant is a fantastic destination for those seeking the bold, spicy flavors of Chettinad cuisine.

The Chettinad Chicken was incredibly flavorful and tender, with a spicy kick that lingered long after the last bite.

The Malabar Parotta was flaky and buttery, making it a perfect accompaniment to the spicy chicken gravy.

I also enjoyed the Vegetable Biryani, which was fragrant and packed with a delicious medley of vegetables.

Dakshin

Location: 3125 Matheson Blvd E, Mississauga, ON L4W 4L1

Dakshin offers a fine selection of South Indian dishes in a comfortable, relaxed setting.

The menu is full of delicious and unique offerings, which made choosing what to order quite a challenge!

The Kothu Parotta was a revelation – flaky parotta tossed with vegetables and spices, creating a mouthwatering combination of flavors and textures.

I also tried the Crab Masala, which was a rich and spicy dish that went perfectly with the soft Appam.

The complimentary papadums and chutneys added an extra touch of authenticity to the meal.

South N' Spicy is a cozy spot to satisfy your cravings for South Indian food.

Upon visiting, I was instantly drawn to the Chicken 65 – a classic South Indian starter with crispy fried chicken, seasoned to perfection.

The Masala Dosa did not disappoint either; the crispy dosa and deliciously spiced potato filling paired beautifully with the sambar and chutneys.

The staff were friendly and attentive, making my experience at South N' Spicy thoroughly enjoyable.
