If you're a fan of fried chicken, you're in luck because I recently scoured the streets of Hamilton in search of the best spots for this tasty treat.
There are some seriously delicious options out there.
From classic southern-style to creative twists on the traditional recipe, these spots are sure to satisfy your cravings.
These are our favorite fried chicken destinations in Hamilton to sink your teeth into right now.
Coop Wicked Chicken is an absolute delight! From the moment we walked in, we were transported back to the 80's and 90's with the nostalgicically inspired decor. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, with a punk-rock meets rustic henhouse vibe that was truly unique.
As for the food, it was absolutely delicious! I had the Buffalo chicken sandwich and it was fantastic. Others with me had the Club sandwich, 5-piece tenders, and nachos, and everyone enjoyed their meals.
The service was excellent as well - the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food came out quickly despite the busy atmosphere.

One thing to note is that the prices at Coop Wicked Chicken are a little on the pricey side. However, the high quality ingredients and delicious food make it worth it in my opinion.
If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely return to Coop Wicked Chicken for another tasty meal. All in all, it's a great spot for lunch, dinner, or a boozy weekend brunch, and I'm sure that their old school vibe, simple but delicious cocktails, and crave-worthy chicken items will continue to ruffle some feathers for years to come.

The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with a lively and friendly vibe. The tables were spaced just far enough apart to allow for private conversations, and there were also outdoor seating options available for those who prefer al fresco dining.
One thing to note is that on busy nights, it can sometimes take over 20 minutes for the food to arrive at your table. While this might be frustrating for some, I actually didn't mind the wait as it gave me and my friends the opportunity to enjoy a nice microbrew from the restaurant's impressive selection.

When the food did arrive, it was worth the wait , I particularly enjoyed the Chicken Fried Chicken, which came with a generous portion of crispy fried chicken and two delicious homemade sauces. The mountain of fries that came with the dish was a nice bonus, too.
Overall, I was very pleased with my experience at The Ship. The burgers and chicken dishes are both delicious and reasonably priced (under 20 dollars before taxes and tip), and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. I would definitely recommend The Ship to anyone in search of a tasty fried chicken fix.

I recently gave Memphis a visit & service was superb ,the staff were always super friendly and attentive, and they really went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable.
We ordered the Honey Butter Fried Chicken family dinner, and it was hands down the best fried chicken dinner we've had anywhere. The ribs were also fantastic - tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor.

The atmosphere at the restaurant was also great - it was unique and had a real sense of nostalgia, with a focus on cuisine from the 1950's and 60's. It definitely made us feel like we were somewhere special, but still like home.
Overall, I would highly recommend Memphis Fire Barbeque Company to anyone in search of delicious, authentic Southern cuisine. The staff are top-notch and the food is absolutely incredible - it's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

In my opinion, this is one of the best fried chicken restaurant in town , food is always fantastic, the wait times are reasonable, and the staff are professional, friendly, and courteous.
It was my son's birthday so I went with their 30 Piece Party Pack, which included 30 pieces of Signature Chicken, 2 large Taters, 2 large Salads, and a large Gravy. Your able to to choose Original, Spicy, or a split of both, and it was the perfect amount of food to feed a crowd of 15 people.

I have to give a big shout out to the staff at Mary Brown Chicken for their fantastic work. They always go above and beyond to make sure that every customer has a great experience, and it really shows.

The fried chicken sandwiches here are truly amazing , I went with the Dirty Southern love waffle sandwich and the Nashville Hot chicken, and both were absolutely delicious. The meat was so tender, flavorful, and crispy, and it was the perfect choice for takeout.
In addition to the sandwiches, we also ordered the Jackfruit mac n cheese and the corn bread muffins. The mac n cheese had a tangy flavor from the jackfruit, which took me a few bites to get accustomed to, but it was still very flavorful and yummy.
A big shout out to Brett and his team for their excellent service. They go out of their way to provide a relaxed and professional experience for their clients at all levels of the business, and it really shows.
