Tony was an awesome instructor. Had 3 lessons with him and passed my G2 road test. I attended the road test with another student who was a woman who failed her G twice previously with her other instructors. But with her first and only refresher lesson with Tony, she passed her G and was very happy. I was definitely a nervous driver in the beginning but became more confident after the lessons with him. According to the Driving Standards Agency (DSA), you‘ll need around 44 hours of professional lessons to pass your driving test. This is just an average figure – it’s important to remember that everyone’s different.
You must wait 12 months after getting your G2 before you can apply to take your G test. This gives you ample time to practice freeway driving and build experience in preparation for your G test.
G1 drivers can have passengers in the car as long as they each have a seat belt, and the passenger in the front seat is a fully licensed driver of at least four years. No other passengers are permitted in the front seat.
