1. GoGiYa Korean Fried Chicken
GoGiYa is a cozy Korean restaurant located in downtown Ottawa. I ordered the sweet and spicy fried chicken with the sauce on the side and it came out quickly.
The chicken was crispy and delicious, with just the right amount of spice. I also tried the Original Crispy flavor, which had less seasoning than the other flavors but was still good for those who prefer less salt and flavoring in their chicken.
I would highly recommend GoGiYa!

2. The King Eddy
The King Eddy is a spacious restaurant located in the heart of the Byward Market in Ottawa. They offer breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner options.
The restaurant is located on a corner so if you're able to get a window seat, you can enjoy the view.
I visited this restaurant after work one day and ordered the fried chicken and waffles. The portion was huge and included a golden waffle, three large pieces of fried chicken, a generous helping of fries, and some coleslaw.
Everything was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning in the future."
3. Fried chicken club
I recently had the opportunity to try Fried Chicken Club for the first time and was blown away by how delicious their fried chicken was.
Every bite had the perfect balance of crunchy coating and juicy, tender meat. The cheesy corn was also a great accompaniment to the chicken.
Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend Fried Chicken Club to anyone looking for delicious fried chicken.
4. Bowman's Bar & Grill
It's always nice to try new places and treat yourself to something different. That's why I love Bowman's. I've been here twice with my boyfriend and both times it was a solid 8.5 out of 10.
The chicken and waffles are to die for! They are so delicious that you'll be asking yourself why you didn't order a second plate. It's definitely a must-try if you're in the area.
5. Little Mac's
This place is amazing. As someone not allergic to gluten, I have high standards for gluten-free food, and this restaurant exceeded my expectations.
I ordered the chicken and waffles and was pleasantly surprised by their deliciousness.
The waffles were crispy on the outside and soft and sweet on the inside, and the chicken was juicy and crispy. The fries were also very good.
Whether you're gluten-free or not, I highly recommend checking out this restaurant. FYI, almost everything on the menu is gluten-free.
6. Crispy's Resto Grill
We tried Crispy's for the first time today after a friend recommended it to us. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their fried chicken and fries.
The chicken and fries were crispy without being oily, and they had a unique flavor thanks to the extra spices that were added to the meat.
Overall, it was a delightful experience and I recommend giving Crispy's a try based on our positive experience.
