The different styles of gardens
The combination of plants and their distribution is what will undoubtedly determine the style you want to give it . Of course, the outdoor furniture – from designer designer pieces to converted antiques – will also personalize the terrain.
Before designing your garden you should think about what drawing you want to achieve with it. French gardens , for example, host plant elements that are perfectly organized and always play on symmetry or geometry; while English gardens do not follow a rational design but quite the opposite, since they aim to imitate nature itself, merge with it and give a spontaneous air to its design. The latter, more wild, informal and without the appearance of order, include an aura of romanticism, like the Italians, they also incorporate the hand of man through artistic pieces and architecture.
There are also the Mediterranean and southern gardens , where there is no shortage of species from this area, such as olive trees, holm oaks and albero. Clean, shady and aromatic designs where a fountain that refreshes the environment should never be missing. And we cannot forget the Zen gardens , where the principles of naturalness (Shizen), simplicity (Kanso) and austerity (Koko) are emphasized . A flowering bignonia covers this romantic porch with stone columns that has been decorated by interior designer Jessica Bataille. Antique furniture with an aged appearance transports us to another time full of stories. The Indian bank is from Parul Import.

This ivy-covered château takes on color thanks to the row of flowering hydrangeas that runs along its façade. This charming old house in Bristol, to which a cubic volume of contemporary architecture has been added, is surrounded by an authentic English garden where plants and bushes of different types are grouped to give a bit of privacy to the home.

In one of the most beautiful rural hotels in Spain , Palacio Ico, in Lanzarote, we discovered a garden that transports us to a wonderful world of cacti. The almost fluorescent green of the vegetation stands out intensely against the lime architecture and stone floors.
91- A DESIGN GARDEN WITH CLIMBING PLANTS
Like in this patio-garden where bougainvilleas climb without hesitation on a pristine white stage. The entire design is made of whitewash painted work: the pool, the bench or chaise longue, with a striped mat, and also the pergola.
